Team Wear & Equipment

Mark your calendars! WSSC's teamwear distribution will take place during our annual Welcome BBQ!  This will be the only time swimmers and parents are able to pick-up their WSSC teamwear, so be sure to be there or email the Club for prior arrangements. Please complete the order form here.

Utilizing the proper equipment during workouts allows our coaches to provide swimmers with targeted training and technique instruction.  Please make sure that you have all of the equipment and team wear required for your swimmer based on his or her swim group.  All swimmers are responsible for keeping track of their own equipment, so please make sure you put your swimmer's name on each piece of equipment and clothing.  Unlabeled equipment and clothing found around the pool deck will be placed in Lost & Found.  The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Please take a minute and review what items should be in your swimming bags.

Team Wear

All swimmers are expected to wear the correct swimsuits and team wear as follows:

Swim practices - WSSC cap and swimsuit

Dry land practices - WSSC shirt/sweat top, black shorts/pants, proper running shoes

Swim meets - WSSC cap, solid black swimsuit (unless otherwise approved by a WSSC coach), WSSC shirt/sweat top and black shorts/pants

Social events - WSSC shirt/sweat top

Equipment

All swimmers must have the following equipment:

  • 2 pairs of goggles
  • Kickboard
  • Pull buoy
  • Rubber fins

Additional Equipment:

Silver and Gold Groups 

Optional but recommended equipment:

  • Mesh Equipment Bag
  • Water bottle
  • Snorkel

“A” and “ B” Groups

  • Ankle band
  • Finger paddles
  • Mid-size paddles
  • Snorkel
  • Mesh Equipment Bag
  • Water bottle (At least 1L bottle recommended)

Equipment & Team Wear Purchase

Team wear, including WSSC swim caps, WSSC hoodies, WSSC t-shirts, etc, must be purchased through the Club.

Equipment may be purchased at a supply store of choice or through our sponsor and retail partner, Ontario Swim Hub.  We encourage our members to purchase through the Ontario Swim Hub.  In addition to offering a WSSC member discount, the Ontario Swim Hub offers a good source of information in terms of sizing, fit, appropriate use and care of swim wear and equipement.

WSSC branded Arena parka and backpacks are available at the Ontario Swim Hub.
